The purpose of this study is to investigate, for the first time, the extent and nature of harassment and bullying in forensic science laboratories associated with law enforcement. A secondary aim of this study was to assess whether levels of harassment were associated with workplace performance, absenteeism, and intention to leave. We hypothesized that harassment is positively associated with intention to leave and absenteeism and negatively associated with workplace performance.
